“I have done three of Rowena’s workshops now - Constructing the Head twice and Constructing the Figure and Form most recently. I’ve always loved creating things but haven’t studied art formally since high school, over 40 years ago. Going to my first class, with Rowena, I foolishly felt very intimidated by my lack of skill and lack of recent creative practice. The last thing I’d made in clay was a “puffer fish” when I was 13. By the end of the first class I’d lost my fear and discovered again the pure joy of being absorbed in a moment of creativity. Rowena’s a wonderful teacher.
